assets
Something valuable belonging to a person or organization that can be used for the payment of debts.
Example: A company's assets can consist of cash, investments, specialist knowledge, or copyright material.

A situation in which a business or a person becomes bankrupt and can't pay its debts.
Example: The company was forced into bankruptcy.
