Hi, my name is Cindy Fuentes I study at Ahuntsic College in Medical Records it is also my second year being part of this program. This glossary will be for my English class to post on my blog. Blogging can be I very good practice to improve my English.
An academic problem that students often face is a procrastination on assignments because teachers often give too much homework. I believe homework should be done during class time or the teacher should calculate the time that a task take by timing themselves.
The teacher should put themselves in their students' shoes to understand that we have other classes to give our attention and that it could be overwhelming on the long term.

overwhelming
The teacher should put themselves in their students' shoes to understand that we have other classes to give our attention and that it could be overwhelming on the long term.
Overwhelm most commonly means to cause to be overcome with emotion as a result of an amount of something (work, stress, etc.) that's just too much to handle. (It can also mean to overpower or physically cover beneath a mass of something). Underwhelm means to fail to impress, especially when that is the expectation.
Example: The study finds that some clusters outperform their non-clustered peers in some years, but there is by no means OVERWHELMING evidence that clustering leads to superior performance in general.
