In 2 weeks, I will begin my internship at the emergency room of Legardeur Hospital. This glossary will contain some important words an emergency nurse will need.

Example: Suddenly, the patient was in apnea and we had to call the doctor.

Example: In pediatric, we see a lot of bronchitis cases.

A fever is a temporary increase in your body temperature, often due to an illness.

A sudden and sometimes fatal occurrence of coronary thrombosis, typically resulting in the death of a heart muscle.
Example: Last week, my patient had a heart attack. Unfortunately, he did not survive.
