Brace
noun
a device fitted to something, in particular a weak or injured part of the body, to give support. devices (bands, wires, ceramic appliances) put in place by orthodontists to gradually reposition teeth to a more favorable alignment.
Example: She wears braces to straighten her teeth.

dental implant
noun
a metal rod (usually made of titanium) that is surgically placed into the upper or lower jawbone where a tooth is missing; it serves as the tooth root and anchor for the crown, bridge, or denture that is placed over it.
Example: In this case the tooth can be replaced by a dental implant preferably, or even by a bridge or a partial.

Adjustable and mobile lighting device, intended to illuminate an operating field in a surgery room, without casting shadow.
Example: It is also advised to move the light of the scialytic so that it is not directed at the patient's mouth.

teeth whitening
noun
Tooth whitening or tooth bleaching is the process of lightening the color of human teeth. Whitening is often desirable when teeth become yellowed over time for a number of reasons, and can be achieved by changing the intrinsic or extrinsic color of the tooth enamel.
Example: Teeth whitening under this condition could irritate the pulp or cause it to become sensitive.
