Bleed
noun
When you want to print a file, and you don't want to have white margins on the edges of the file, you have to drop the pictures outside the printing area. This space that will be removed is called, bleed.
Example: Don't forget to include the bleed.

noun
To remove sharpness from an image to add more overall effect.
Example: This photo would look way better with a blur effect in the background.

Resize an image to enlarge or shrink it.
Example: This software helps me crop my photos easily.

Die cut
noun
Cut documents with a template defined by the graphic designer.
Example: I created a die cut at this location.

Gradient
noun
Gradation of several colors to create dynamic design.
Example: I don't like to use gradients in my designs.

Grid
noun
A pattern of intersecting lines that form squares to aid in the alignment of graphic elements in a design.
Example: The usage of a grid is very useful.

Hexadecimal
adjective
A numbering system which can be used to indicate a specific color.
Example: The hexadecimal number of the red color is FF0000.

Hue
noun
A color or a shade of color.
Example: The graphic designer adjusted the image's hue.

Logotype
noun
A company logo consisting of its name and distinctive element.
Example: This logotype is awsome.

Margins
noun
The blank area on the borders of a sheet of paper.
Example: I decided to increase the margin of my document by two inches.

Mock-up
noun
A replica or model of something.
Example: I use this mock-up to display my design.

Monochrome
adjective
Which includes only one color.
Example: The utilization of monochrome is becoming popular again.

Opacity
noun
To make certain elements opaque.
Example: The opacity of this picture has been lowered to about 60 percent of the original value.

noun
Each component that is displayed on a computer screen.
Example: A monitor is made up of pixels.

noun
An overwhelmingly textual component that has been integrated into a design in place of something else.
Example: This placeholder can be used to embed your text.

noun
Is the number of pixels in an image.
Example: I play on a 4K resolution.

noun
Tools in Photoshop that allow you to change the resolution of an image or a component.
Example: I use Photoshop to scale the image.

It is a kind of art that allows to transform the characters of the letters of the words used in an artistic context.

This is the a mathematical formula that specifies the position of the image's pixels so that it can be scaled with no degradation in quality.
