Abrasion
Noun
A cut or scrape that typically isn’t serious.
Example: The patient has a minor abrasion on the upper hand
Acute
Adjective
Signifies a condition that begins abruptly and is sometimes severe, but the duration is short.
Example: Many psychiatric medications have to be dosed every week, because they can lead to an accumulation of the product in the metabolism wich will traduct in acute symptoms.
Bruise
Noun
A contusion
Example: I made myself a bruise falling down my skateboard.
Bruxism
Noun
The medical way to say that you grind your teeth.
Example: Bruxism is frequently occuring during the night.
Crepitus
The cracking sound our joints sometimes make
Example: I can hear a lot of crepitus in the morning when I get off my bed.
Emesis
Noun
The medical term for nausea.
Example: Many medications have emesis as a side effect.
Epistaxis
Noun
Correct term for nosebleed.
Example: Epistaxis can sometimes be shutted down by applying cold object on top of the neck.
fasciculation

Uncontrollable and repetitive stimulation in a muscle
Example: My biceps is having small and uncontrollable contractions. It is called fasciculation.

A patient who is sick enough to require an hospitalization.
Example: Many patients at the emergency room becomes inpatients because of the acuity of their sickness

Example: The last movie you looked at might have provocated you a lachrymation. Maybe you should go for a happier movie next time.

Numbness of an extremity due to a pressure.
Example: The feeling of numbness you have when you sit for too long on the toilet is called obdormition.

Example: Onychocryptosis is painful but very easy to treat.

A prediction of the outcome of a disease or a condition.
Relapse
Noun
Return of disease or symptoms after a patient has recovered.
Example: His long gone symptoms are making a relapse.
Sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia
Noun
The sensation of having a brain freeze while consuming a cold dish or berevage.
Example: Have you ever searched ''South Texas Slushie challenge'' on Youtube ? Some people do be experiencing sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia to the extreme.
Sternutate
The exact work for ''sneezing''
Example: The patient is having repetitive and loud sternutate.

Example: The new patient is actually intoxicated and tomorrow, he will suffer from veisalgia.
Xerosis

The medical term to define dry skin.
Example: My dermatologist told me that I have an excessive amount of dry skin, wich he refered as ''Xerosis''.

The medical term to describe a dry mouth.
Example: Xerostomia is one of the many side effect of this medication.
