6 Módulo de transferencia de calor & Inglés terms

Again this glossary tries to be a meeting point so that all readers can know at any time what we want to say or explain with the use of a specific term. The information for each word has been obtained from various sources.

Directional heat flux
Heat flow is the measure of energy transfer, which is caused by a temperature difference and leads to temperature equilibrium between substances.
Example: The amount of heat that passes from one substance to another per unit of time is the heat flux with the unit of measurement Joule per second [J / s]. This is the Watts [W] unit of measure that is commonly used to indicate power.

Extrude feature.
Extrusion is a process used to create objects with a fixed cross-sectional profile where a material is pushed or pulled through a die with the desired cross-section.
Example: The extrusion process can be done with hot or cold material.
es: Función de extrusión.

Fixed support
A fixed support is the most rigid type of support or connection. It restricts the member in all translations and rotations. (ie it cannot move or rotate in any direction).
Example: The simplest example of a fixed support would be a concrete post or column. The post cannot be twisted, rotated, or displaced; You are basically restricted in all your movements in this connection.

Static structural system
If a structure is made up of a set of elements that interact according to laws, to fulfill an end (of the person who builds it), we are also in the presence of a system.
Example: A resistant structure is, therefore, a system whose purpose is to self-support and / or support the elements that are associated with it, either inside or outside.
es: Sistema estructural estático.

Temperature distribution.
noun
A simple model to estimate the temperature distribution is a square plate resulting in a system of linear equations. To build the proper linear system, we use the following information. The square plate is perfectly insulated from above and below, so the only heat flow is through the plate itself.
Example: To approximate the temperature at an interior point on the plate, we use the rule that averages the temperatures of its four cardinal points.
es: Distribución de temperatura.

Total heat flux
The total heat transfer coefficient, or U-value, refers to how well heat conducts through a series of resistant media.
Example: The total heat transfer coefficient is influenced by the thickness and thermal conductivity of the materials through which heat is transferred. The larger the coefficient, the easier the heat is transferred from its source to the product being heated.
es: Flujo de calor total
