Hi everyone. I made this glossary for you to see what terms are important for the job. There is going to be 20 words in this glossary. Those vocabularies are often used to describe this career because we frequently used them. I found the definitions to the words on different dictionaries and tried to adjust them to the definition describing Special Care Counseling.
Assistance
noun
The act of helping or assisting someone.
Example: This is basically based upon a written source called Agricola, by Tacitus, where he says: "..gave private encouragement and official assistance to the building of temples, public squares and good houses...".

Autonomous
adjective
Having autonomy; not subject to control from outside; independent.
Example: Both the previous approaches share the assumption that actors, as rational and autonomous individuals capable of assessing their own interests, say what they want.

Available
adjective
It is someone or something that can be found, used or accessed.
Example: There were water nipples at the back of the cage, and feed was available to the bird by putting its head through the bars at the front of the cage into a trough (and chain) feed system.

Communication
noun
It is process by which information is exchanged between individuals through a common system of symbols, signs, or behavior to successfully convey or share ideas and feelings.
Example: Most early theories suggest that toolmaking, technological advances and the human social environment, drove the need for a larger brain, whilst language is explained as a non-adaptive side consequence of the evolution of the brain, or as evolving as a response to selection pressure for improved communication between humans.

Comprehension
noun
The action or capability of understanding something or someone.
Example: The presence of a vocal tract capable of speech is not evidence of language in itself; the brain is responsible for the creation and comprehension of language.

Confidentiality
noun
The state of keeping or being kept secret or private.
Example: Parents were provided with contact numbers for any further advice, and confidentiality was maintained throughout including anonymity in reporting.

Constancy
noun
The quality of being faithful and dependable.
Example: Poetry is detrimental to the discovery of this truth as it subverts the constancy of human identity, stirs up the emotions undermining personal autonomy, and is able only to offer a second order copy of the absolute form.

Creativity

The ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations; originality, progressiveness, or imagination.
Example: It is imagination and creativity, not induction, that generates real scientific theories, which is how Einstein could study the universe with no more than a piece of chalk.

Empathy
noun
The action of understanding and experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience communicated in an explicit manner.
Example: Smithian sympathy is what we today refer to as empathy; the capacity to imagine oneself' in someone else's shoes and have fellow-feeling with whatever they feel.

Evaluation

The making of a judgment about the amount, number, or value of something.
Example: Before an adequate evaluation of the validity of this collection of evidence, and thus the accuracy of her theory of endosymbiosis can be established, one must first understand not only the suggestions and implications of the theory towards human cell biology, but the original requirement for cells to evolve.

Intervention

An action taken in which a person with a problem is confronted by a group whose purpose is to compel the person to acknowledge and deal with the problem to improve the situation in which the person is living.
Example: With this in mind, further research should be undertaken to refine possible intervention measures that may improve the emotional well-being and psychological development of socially rejected children.

Example: Introspection is subjective and often written off as a scientific method of observation.

An efficient and orderly approach to tasks.
Example: The organisation of chapters, for example, "Starting off", "Scoring and Grafting" and "Social networks", and the quotations from the women used in these chapters are Taylor's interpretations of separate aspects of her subjects' lives.

An association of two or more people as partners.
Example: Some suggest that for projects to proceed a partnership is required between public and private sectors.

Persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.

The cognitive process of thinking about what you will do in the event of something happening by formulating a program for a definite course of action.
Example: The survey was however very useful in obtaining detailed information on my diet which is useful for planning and maintaining a healthy diet.

To have control and authority over something or someone and the duty of taking care of it, him, or her.
Example: Medical causes such as excessive use of levothyroxine could also be responsible for his weight loss and diarrhoea however this would not cause rectal bleeding.

A person or thing that gives aid or assistance.
