6 Glossary-Week 5 terms

In this glossary you will see some concepts that are in the pdf of the ANSYS simulation practice

Boundary
Boundary conditions:
a line that divides two areas or forms an edge around an area
Example: The boundaries of this property extend past the woods.
es: Perímetro
Boundary
Highlighted
Drop it inside the highlighted green rectangle in the Project Schematic window.
to attract attention to or emphasize something important
Example: The report highlights the need for improved safety.
es: destacado
highlighted
Steady-State
This creates a schematic where Static Structural is sharing data with Steady-State Thermal at the model and above levels as shown below.
an unvarying condition in a physical process, especially as in the theory that the universe is eternal and maintained by constant creation of matter.
Example: That was during a post-glacial period, hydrologists point out, when the lake was seeking a steady state.
es: Estado estable
Steady-State
Surrounding
The surrounding air is 28°C with a heat transfer coefficient of h=30 W/(m°C).
in a position around something
Example: The shop draws customers from many surrounding areas.
es: rodeando
surrounding
Toolbox
Drag the Steady-State Thermal icon from the Analysis Systems Toolbox window
a box or container for keeping tools in.
Example: Where is my toolbox?
es: Caja de herramientas
Toolbox
Workbench
Start an ANSYS Workbench Project
a flat table or surface at which carpentry or other mechanical or practical work is done.
Example: Use the workbench to do that job
es: Banco de trabajo
Workbench
