It is when prices rise. Is far more common
Example: Lately, I haven't bought anything because there is a lot of inflation and it is very expensive.

Noun
The financial obligations are entered in the balance sheet of a business enterprise.; money owed; debts or pecuniary obligations (opposed to assets).; As detailed on a balance sheet, especially in relation to assets and capital.
Example: Our liabilities are very high, so we owe a lot of companies.

This term can refer to introducing a new customer or client to your services or products, or it’s used to describe assimilating a new employee into your organization.
Example: The new manager is very good at onboarding customers into our new product.
