I made this glossary for me to get able to learn more about light

angle of reflection
Noun
the angle made by a reflected ray with a perpendicular to the reflecting surface.
Example: The angle of reflection is not always right.

Noun
power derived from the utilization of physical or chemical resources, especially to provide light and heat or to work machines.
Example: We can define light as energy

A lamp that when we turn on using the light shine on places.
Illumination
Noun
lighting or light something.
Example: You can reach your illumination like the lamp does when light arrives.
pt_br: Iluminação
The lights and the truck passing illuminating the streets and some places around.
Lantern
Noun
A square, curved, or polygonal structure on the top of a dome or a room, with the sides glazed or open so as to admit light.
Example: Put the lantern to illuminate here!

Opaque
Adjective
not able to be seen through; not transparent.
Example: This object is opaque

Penumbra
Noun
Transition point from light to shadow.
Example: This room is a penumbra

Reflection
Noun
The throwing back by a body or surface of light, heat, or sound without absorbing it.

The mountain and the trees reflecting on the river.
Refraction
Noun
Change in direction of propagation of any wave as a result of its traveling at different speeds at different points along the wave front.
Example: When we put something into the water in a cup of glass reflect.

A cup with colorful water representing reflection.
Shadows
Noun
A dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface.
Example: Escuse me, you are making shadow and I cannot read.

Giving out or reflecting bright light.
Example: This thing is really shinning.
