CHILDHOOD EDUCATION is a program for people who want to work directly with children young between 0 months and 12 years old. In this program, we learn how to help the development of the kids. The glossary that I have made could be useful for the students in this field of study. Every word in this glossary can be useful to understand and successfully the best way the program. This glossary can help a student in a work, teamwork or an exam. Learning the meaning of this word can help to succeed in this field of study.
- children
- A young human being below the age of puberty or below the legal age of majorities.
- diaper
- A piece of absorbent material wrapped around a baby's bottom and between its legs to absorb and retain urine and feces.
- educator
- A person who provides instruction or education.
- food
- Any nutritious substance that people or animals eat or drink or that plants absorb in order to maintain life and growth.
- grow
- Natural development by changing physically; progress to maturity.
- language
- The method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way.
- learning
- The acquisition of knowledge or skills through experience, study, or by being taught.
- meeting
- Meeting between 2 or more people to discuss a specific subject.
- nursery
- A place where young children and babies are taken care of while their parents are at work.
- outside
- Not being inside a room.
- parent
- A person who is legally responsible for taking care of his children.
- passion
- A strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something.
- patience
- Don't be pressured and accept the time it takes.
- pleasure
- A feeling of happy satisfaction and enjoyment.
- puzzle
- A toy, problem, or other contrivance designed to amuse by presenting difficulties to be solved by ingenuity or patient effort.
- reading book
- Book for people who are learning to read, to help them become accustomed to looking at and understanding written words.
- relationship
- The way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people be connected, or the state of being connected.
- sharing
- Give a portion of (something) to another or others.
- sleep
- Condition of body and mind such as that which typically recurs for several hours every night, in which the nervous system is relatively inactive, the eyes closed, the postural muscles relaxed, and consciousness practically suspended.
- toy
- An object for a child to play with, typically a model or miniature replica of something.
