This festival is THE music festival not to be missed in the region. It is in its 26th edition this year and welcomes more than 10,000 spectators each year. Quebec artists are the headliners, but the festival also attracts the hearts of Thetford residents with its young artists who are trying to make a name for themselves. The winners of Secondaires en spectacle and Cégep en spectacle are among the performers. It usually takes place in the second weekend of August, just before school starts. If you like Quebec music and a family atmosphere, you will certainly enjoy this festival.

2. 2. Le Festival l'Alternative

This festival is brand-new in the region, but it has distinguished itself by its originality. Their mission is to make known the alternative music of the region. It is a music festival that is out of the ordinary and that wins the hearts of its spectators. Several emerging artists from our region have participated. Local businesses are also involved. It takes place on the second weekend of June, just in time for the beginning of the vacation.

3. 3. Du Talent à Thetford

Talent in Thetford is a performing arts event that welcomes the best talent in town to compete. This year will be their first edition but certainly not their last. It is an event not to be missed, for the simple reason that it features all kinds of talent. This year, there will be, among others, dancers, music bands, musicians, a beatboxer, acrobats, and more. It will be broadcast online on April 24th but the formula will be adapting during the next editions so that it will be live in front of an audience.
