How do you define the job?

Entering different transaction for the customer.


How many years of experience have you had in business?

I have been working for 5 years now. I have been working with customers since the beginning.


Describe your prior experience as cassier?

I haven't done the exact same job as the one propose, but I have made a lot of transactions with customers at subway


What was your earliest work experience?

My first experience was when I was 12 years old. I started distributing newspaper in my town.


How did you motivate an underperforming team to achieve its goals?

When I work at Subway, and we are in a rush and the other is like where never going to finish this. I just say that we are going to succeed and that's going to be OK. After that I try to do as much as I can, to help him, so that he can see the end of the rush.


In what ways have you exceeded expectations in the past?

At the SADC I created a diagram without anyone asking and my work was really professional. My boss was really happy with my work.


What makes you different from other candidates?

I think that what makes me different from the other candidate is because I am highly motivated, I'm always available, and I'm really good with numbers.


What does being cassier mean to you?

I think that being a cashier is a really good job, I've always wanted to do my internship as a cashier. That's my dream internship if we can say.


When have you worked in a team before?

I always work in teams in my work. I think that working in team is a great way to get better ideas and increase productivity.


What kind of people do you not work well with?

Maybe the ones that are negative because I'm a really positive person. Generally, I work well with everyone.


How do you react to criticism?

I try to take criticism as advice, it pushes me do better.


What kind of environment do you feel most comfortable?

I feel comfortable in a friendly environment, It's really the best environment to work in, it's so much funnier.


Tell me about how you plan your daily activities?

I try to schedule it the night before, I'm more productive that way.


How would you approach a task you have never done before?

I would try to understand it first, and get it done after, I would learn new things, and I'm open for that.


What did you do to learn the ropes at a previous job?

Pretty much everything because it was my first real job. I developed my customer services more than my other skills.


Tell me about a time when you were able to convince someone.

I was trying to convince someone on a good deal, I've told him why I thought it was a good deal and I've shown him the numbers my way. He finally agreed with me.


How do you convince someone to change their mind?

I show him real facts otherwise it's really complicated to change someone else's minds.


How would you be of value to our company?

I would be a great asset of your company because I intend to stay here for a long time, and I'm open to grind the ladder.
