How do you define the job?

Imagine a company with interest in your products but that won't commit because all they see is an expensive price. Then imagine another company with certain needs but no product knowledge. For me, being a salesperson means to explain the first company how the price is justify and make them realise the future investment this product is. Also, you have to help the second company find what products are appropriate for them by taking in consideration their needs. Ultimately, you want to keep a good business relationship with them by being professional and friendly.


How many years of experience have you had in sales?

I worked as sales representatives for one year.


Describe your prior experience as salesperson?

I will be earning a degree in business and administration in May 2021. Also, I started working as a sales representative for a window cleaning company, but that didn't last long because I didn't like to do door to door sales. I discover that I wanted to work for a more challenging and interesting job. Furthermore, for a school project at my college me and my team sold products and it went really well. At the end of the project, we were one of the top selling teams.


What was your earliest work experience?

My first job was wrapping food in a grocery store. A typical day was wrapping food until their is a less clients and then I had to place the new products in a specific way. It was a challenging job physicaly but I enjoyed the contact with the clients.


What makes you different from other candidates?

One of my strengths comes from the fact that I worked in many places in the past and that give me a lot of experience in different area. Also, my dad has his own business so since my childhood he is giving me advice on business. In addition, I already worked as sales representatives in the past at my young age.


What does being salesperson mean to you?


When have you worked in a team before?

For a project in sales representatives course I had to work with classmates. The project was huge, so we had a few months to get prepared. Our strategy for a gigantic project like that was to divide each task according to ours strengths. For example, I had experience with excel, so I worked on the sales projections.Then, my classmates would verify my answer to make sure everything was right. We realized the effectiveness of this method when we received the teacher feedback. This team technique was successful because it was providing us from making mistakes.
