For me, a salesperson is someone who who will sell products and services of the company he represents to customers and other companies.
In sales, I have 6 months of experience.
I was a sales associate in Best Buy for 6 months. I was located in the mobile section, so I was responsible for selling products such as speakers and headsets. I also had to sell guarantees for the products. Also, I have all the notions necessary in sales that I learned in my studies at Ahuntsic College in business.
What makes me different for the other candidates are my work experiences. A lot of people don't have the kind of experience I have when they finish their studies. I have experience in customer services, in sales and in call centers, which is a lot for a student.
I always like working in teams. In fact, it's always helpful to be able to count on other people when we have a task to do. I worked in teams on a lot of occasions. For example, for a school project where we had to sell products to students, I had to work in a team of five. The project was successful, since we were the team that made the most sells.
When I worked at Best Buy, I had to sell guarantees, witch was really hard, because not everyone wants to spend more money for a product. In order to convince them to buy the guarantee, I offered them a deal. Instead of having a guarantee of 2 years for a certain price, I told them that I can offer them, for the same price, 3 years of guarantee. That convinced a lot of people.
I would absolutely be of value for the company because I have a lot of experience, a lot of skills and a lot of motivation for this job. Being a salesperson always inspired me because I get to help people choose the right products for their needs.
What do the day-to-day responsibilities of the role look like?
When can I start if I'm chosen for the position?
