First and foremost, a salesperson has to sell a product or a service depending on which company he is working for. A salesperson has to be able to communicate and listen to his customers. He also has to know his products and what he sells in order for the customers to be able to trust him.
I have been studying in Business Management since 2018. I've gained a lot of knowledge during these years as to what is a salesperson. I've also been working in a retail store since 2018.
Also, I've worked in a retail store and the clients would ask my opinion a lot and I would have to give it in a way that would make the customers buy our products.
My earliest work experience was in 2018, in a retail store. When I work, I have to communicate a lot with the customers because they ask questions about a lot of things around the store and I would have to be able to serve them and answer their questions.
I was doing a school project with other people in the same program as mine. We were really advanced and thought we almost had done the assignment when we realized there was a whole page of the assignment we hadn't done. We were all discouraged at first but I told them that we're a hardworking team and that if we all put our minds together we were going to finish the page we didn't see really quickly and that we did.
Most of the time, when I don't know people I tend to be quieter than usual. For example, when I start a new job I am quieter with my colleagues in the beginning but when I get to know them I become more talkative. My colleagues were really shocked when they realized that when I speak with the customers all that shyness goes away, I really exceeded their expectations on that one.
My personality and my want to succeed makes me different from others. I really like to help my customers and to be able to serve them in the best way I can. In my opinion, customer service is really important, so in everything I do as a salesperson, I try to put my customers first to be able to serve them better.
I don't work well with people that aren't optimistic, or with people that don't want to do their work in the best way possible. So, I don't work well with people that aren't hardworking.
When someone criticizes me, I don't take it in the wrong way and start a fight with them. I try to take that criticism into consideration and I try to work better on myself each and every day.
I plan my daily activities by starting with what is more important and what takes the most of my time, because when those are done I can finish the little things easily.
To convince someone to change their minds you have to be a good negotiator or you have to have every fact as to why the first option is better than the other.
I would be a value to your company because I'm a hardworking person, I don't start anything without finishing it in the best way possible. I also like to learn and give advice, but I also like to listen to the others when they give me advice. I learn quite fast and I'm a positive person who takes pleasure in everything she does.
