How do you define the job?

For me, being Financial advisor consists to assist companies and people to achieve their personal goals. I am also in charge to give them financial advises and to inform them about what is better for them.

How many years of experience have you had in sales?

I have 3 years of experience in sales due to my education at the Ahuntsic College and my professional experiences.

Describe your prior experience as financial advisor?

As a Financial advisor, I have the responsibility to take care about clients personal finances and to assist them to achieve their personal goals. I am also in charge to give them financial advises and to inform them about what is better for them.

What was your earliest work experience?

My first job was as a clerk in a grocery store. There I had the opportunity to learn many things as how a company handle their supplies and who to organize Myself properly to give my best in every task. A year and half after, I felt that I needed a new challenge in a other context, so I accepted a job offer from Discount Car Rental where I work as a Customer Service Advisor. This job gave me, the opportunity to put in practice every accept that I had learned in my Business Management program.

How did you motivate an underperforming team to achieve its goals?

At my first job at the grocery store, I had the opportunity to work with a lot of new employees. Being for the most of them their first job, they were struggling to learn how to do the job. This fact, made me remember that when I entered this job, anyone really helped me to learn the job and it was a very hard time for me. My work colleagues used to get mad when I asked questions. I decided to become a resourceful person for the new employees and to put things easier for them, so they could develop themselves as good employees. To do that, I had to speak with them often to tell them the good job that their were doing and correct them in their mistakes.

In what ways have you exceeded expectations in the past?

At my time at secondary school, two teachers use to tell me that I should not go to Cegep due to my concentration problems and that I would fail there. Now, I am proud to say that I am one term away from getting my degree in Business Management.

What makes you different from other candidates?

I think that one of my biggest qualities is that I am someone who has big expectations about myself because I think and have the confidence that I have what it takes to due whatever job or task that I want. This is thanks to my constant efforts to learn more and the will to continue expanding my knowledge.

What does being financial advisor mean to you?

It means to be the link between a person or a company's financial situation and a bank institution.

When have you worked in a team before?

One of my biggest passions in life is soccer. I had the opportunity over the years to be a part of many soccer teams and this helped me develop some values that helped me in life such as friendship, teamwork, and respect.

What kind of people do you not work well with?

I don't like to work with a hypocritical person and a not honest person.

How do you react to criticism?

I like to get feedback because it helps to get better and to grow as an employee and person.

What kind of environment do you feel most comfortable?

I prefer to have my personal space to work and to get concentrated to do a task but when it requires, I don't have any issue to work in teams.

Tell me about how you plan your daily activities?

Since I was in Cegep I used to plan my day every morning in my agenda, so I could be better organized and to not procrastinate.

How would you approach a task you have never done before?

I would ask someone to help me, so I could not make a big mistake. I could also do some research on the web.

Tell me about a time when you were able to convince someone.

At my job at Discount car rental I had the opportunity to sell extra things evolving a car or truck location. For example, I could locate dollies, extra protections or baby seats.

How do you convince someone to change their mind?

I clearly explain to them the benefits and the disadvantages, so they can see what is better for them and to reduce a potential risk.

How would you be of value to our company?

I think I could be an assured asset because what I am looking for is a work who can keep me learning more and expanding my knowledge. I also want a job who can give me a certain stability and where I could progress as an employee in a long term.

How do you see yourself contributing to our team?

I think I could afford some good spirit to my team and a hybrid type of employee who does not have any issue to help other or to do many sorts of tasks.
