How did you motivate an underperforming team to achieve its goals?

Teams can sometimes feel demotivated.I have learned to draw my motivation from the success I have obtained in this field. Whenever my team felt demotivated, I would make them look back at their achievements and significant experiences they accomplished as a team, which would make them feel like they can overcome any challenge that comes their way. Making people reflex on their past projects and making them proud. Most people are result-oriented, and therefore, if anything promises a positive outcome, they will gladly overlook the challenges.

What makes you different from other candidates?

I believe that the knowledge I acquired from courses in Business and Digital Marketing is a significant asset for the position you are offering. As you can see in my CV, I master a lot of digital and content creating tools. I also know how to use the pack office and Ms Project software. All those skills, I have applied them throughout my studies and internships as referred to on my CV. This makes me the perfect candidate for this role because through my experiences I have learned the best strategies for social media. As a result, I will be more efficient and creative when working with the content strategy and creative teams to develop publication schedules to ensure the brand image is respected. Furthermore, I traveled a lot which is why I’m bilingual in English. This allowed me to be adaptable to many situations even in stress, and when talking to people. I am able to always look for solutions and stay calm. I am eager to learn new skills and ideas from others, and I take in critics very well, as it’s an opportunity for self-growth.

What does being social media coodinator mean to you?

The biggest challenge that I experienced in my former role was starting from zero. It was a new company in a highly competitive market. I had to work extra hard to come up with and review new strategies that would guarantee success. I also had to get the best team of influencers after pulling some strings that did a good job and gave the company the awareness it wanted. I am glad to report that it was doing pretty well by the time I left. It was very overwhelming experience but very rewarding too. I am proud of what I have accomplished for this company as it was my first job as a Social Media Coordinator, and I was still at University. So, for this question I would say that being a social media coordinator is taking risks, overcome challenges and always be confident in your choices. It's also important to stay creative and think outside the box when looking for solutions.
