How do you define the job?

This job is really important in a company. It means helping employees with their questions about anything in the company related to human resources, and more precisely about the payroll, the laws and policies. It also contributes to make a job offer and find the best person for the company and for this position. This position also have some administrative tasks like files management, cases about CNESST or just some employee's management. It's also really important in a company because it involves enforcing important company laws and policies or even labor standards in general.

I have 2 years of experiences in this job.


Describe your prior experience as job interview human ressources?

I started working as an administrative assistant. Otherwise, I was doing many tasks that are related to human resources like payroll, hour verification or some file's management or some CNESST cases. At this job I was also doing some accounting.


What was your earliest work experience?

My first job was working as a day camp leader when I was 16 years old. I always love to work with kids. I would say that I really like to be engaged in what I do. I was working every week day for about 2 or 3 months during the summer holiday. I was creating some activities for the kids group supervises with another person one group of approximately 10-12 kids.


How did you motivate an underperforming team to achieve its goals?

For example, when at my last job my colleagues don't like the tasks the manager asks for, but we don't have choices to do it. So, in this situation I decided to find an alternative to make this task easier, so I decided to talk to them and arrange all of them with the part they like or prefer to do. But I also talk to them to motivate them and to explain that if we do it right now, it will be finished earlier.


In what ways have you exceeded expectations in the past?

I was always doing more than what was asked. If I was ask to do something, I would do my best to do more than that but with the same concentration and application in the details that are asked.


What makes you different from other candidates?

I am different from other candidates because I have the spirit to be organized, and rigorous. I would say that I am appreciate by my work team, even if I am a little bit shy with others. Also, I like to work and to give the maximum that I can.


What does being an human ressources director mean to you?

It means that I am here to help people and to protect them in their work and to applicate labor standards. It also means that you are always free to respond to employees that need help and need to talk.


When have you worked in a team before?

I have worked a lot of times in team before. I have worked at school in most of my classes, but also at my last job I work with a lot of different teams that are all different.


What kind of people do you not work well with?

I would say that I don't like to work with people that don't want to cooperate and are fixated on doing things their way and don't listen to other team partner, and think that what everyone says is not good except their thinking.


How do you react to criticism?

I would say that I accept the constructive criticism, I review to be better and not make the same mistake again. I like to work on me and evolve and that is only with criticism that are constructive and people that can talk about it and explain it.


What kind of environment do you feel most comfortable?

I feel most comfortable in an environment that is stable and clear and also organised and that follows the rules and the protocol. I don't like to make things fast and swollen.


Tell me about how you plan your daily activities?

I use multiple tools to help me organize my day. First of all, I use my agenda to make a plan of the day with all the tasks in order. Then, I use my calendar for the future big event, and I also make a to-do list on my computer and my phone to be updated every day.


How would you approach a task you have never done before?

I go toward the good person who can explain the task for me, to know all the steps to finish this task. Also, I ask some verification with different colleagues to be sure that is good.


What did you do to learn the ropes at a previous job?

I was paired with someone that is much more experienced, I analyzed a lot and took a lot of notes to be sure that I don't forget anything.


Tell me about a time when you were able to convince someone.

First of all, you have to ensure that your person is able to listen to what you say. After you have to say what you have to convince him, and then listen to what the person is not convinced and find a thing to reassure the person. You do the same things step by step to convince your person in your opinion over time. You also have to build a relationship based on trust.


How do you convince someone to change their mind?

You need to make them trust you and find good tips to help the clients believe that they need this product.

I am a person that works hard, that is different, and that can adapted myself in every situation and can make your company evolve.

I make other people better, I can easily adapt and make everyone work harder.
