How do you define the job?

An operations director is a pivotal role at the heart of a business. The operations director oversees all operational aspects of company strategy, helps set strategic goals and is responsible for the flow of operations information to the chief executive and the board.


How many years of experience have you had in marketing?

I have a total of 3 years of experience in the marketing field.


Describe your prior experience as director of operations?

I helped to ensure that the company procedures are properly executed and that policies are followed.


What was your earliest work experience?

Yes, in most of my previews jobs, I had to do my whole shift standing up. I help everyone and make sure they don't miss anything. Also, I believe I work very hard to help the company succeed.


How did you motivate an underperforming team to achieve its goals?

Whether I'm giving negative feedback (which is never easy to give or receive), or I'm trying to check-in on how team members are coping in ongoing uncertainty, employees might take it personally or be skeptical. I share specific examples of how projects or results could have been better, and make it clear you care about your employee as a person and that you want them to excel. I show that I support the employees and I'm invested in their development, while also sharing expectations.

My sense of responsibility with my desire to acheive success makes me the perfect candidate for the job.


What does being director of operations mean to you?

It means to manage all systems and processes that a company uses every single day. A few of the main duties of a director of operations are managing the productions schedule, working with vendors, and implementing new company policies.

People that are motivating, that brings new ideas and different approche

I take them and use the most of it to make me a better and efficient worker.

Where everyone can bring their ideas without being judge.


Tell me about how you plan your daily activities?

I use multiple tools to help me organize my day. I use technology (online calendar) for the biggest part of my day which is school and work. I also use paper calendars for the little reminders.


How would you approach a task you have never done before?

I ask questions to the right persons to make sure I do the task like I'm supposed to.


What did you do to learn the ropes at a previous job?

I asked questions before, I've watched coworkers do it before me so I have a better idea of what is asked.


Tell me about a time when you were able to convince someone.

Most of the time, I try to get them to lower their guard with a genuine compliment.


How do you convince someone to change their mind?

If you want to change someone’s mind, you have to know what is important to that person. As certain as you are that your opinion is the right one, you need to be able to understand the other person’s possible objections.


How would you be of value to our company?

By being proud of showing my uniform or my business cards. I also speak greatly about the company itself.


How do you see yourself contributing to our team?

My past experience can bring new points of view, and I also find the best solutions to every problem.
