It is a very demanding job especially regarding the changing schedule and the anxiety that the job can bring us. Being a police officer means having to live with roller coaster of emotions. Otherwise, as for the office part, police officers must fill out event reports keeping track of their interventions.

Police officers perform a wide range of duties, including patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency calls, conducting investigations, making arrest and issuing citations or warnings for violent ions of the law.


What do police officers do on a typical day?

You’ll take your time responding to emergencies. You’ll write some ticket or just help people in general.


Where do police officers work?

Police officers can work in different kinds of police forces. They can work at a municipal police department, they can work at the “Sureté du Québec” (provincial police) or they can work for the royal Canadien mounted police (RCMP).


How can I become a police officer?

To become a police officer you need to study Police Technology at school for three years, and you need to go to the national police school at Nicolet.

They’re no chance because a robot will never be able to reed people emotions, and I think we can’t trust robot with a firearm, they could shoot the wrong person. Moreover, they can’t arrest someone, they don’t have the capacity to.
