Of course not. Some courses look like we are never gonna use what they show to us. There are some courses that are very interesting and that it’s gonna be useful for your future job.

Where do a technician in special education work?

There are a lot of places where a technician in special education can work. For example, we work in primary and secondary school. We can work in CLSC or CHSLD. Some hospital search technician, nursery and day camp.

I think that the biggest difficulty is to learn all the mental illness. They are a lot of different type, and they are difficult to learn by heart. To help you, you can create a little glossary to remember all the words.

Yes, I did it at a primary school in Terrebonne in my first semester. The school is Le Geai-Bleu.
