They can work in many place such as in a hospital, in a house or in a war field. The tasks can vary a lot.
There's four educational programs to become a nurse : CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), RN (Registered Nurse) and APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. The most commun one is the RN. You have to be LPN before. In total it can take 3 years.
A Registered Nurse can make over $75,000, but the hightest in nursing is $150,000 if it's a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
If you are a Registered Nurse, you can jave the opportunity to level up in you career by earning a master’s degree in nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and gaining additional experience to become a nurse practitioners or take on other roles.
As I said before, it's demanding. It can affect your mental or your physic. The shifts are really long, and sometimes you have to do over shift. For a lot of nurses, they give up because they can't handle it anymore.
I don't think it's going to happen in healthcare, especially in nursing field. Humans need an other human contact.
Google says that by age of 56 they retire. Some retired earlier in their age because of how hard it can be and overwhelming, especially since Covid. I am not sure if I personnaly want to do that, but I feel like this job can learn me to be more patient and to feel compassion over people.
I am not sure yet, but If I do follow this path, I will go in college and do three years. Then, I will go in University. I would love to help people.
