Once this is done, you officially are a paramedic, if you want, you can spend two years working, you can go to university to learn more skills and be an advanced paramedic.

Other than the training done at school, there is not any additional training to be on the road as a paramedic. Like mentioned before, you can be an advanced paramedic, this title lets you administer more medications to the patient which gives him more chances of survival.
