Medication will be the robber's target because it costs much money. The pharmacist can risk his life in these types of situations. Another risk is having to deal with a sick patient. An example is a pandemic that we are facing right now of covid-19. If the pharmacist enters into contact with someone who has the virus, he can get it, and he could give it to his family. He could be a danger to its entourage.
For now, pharmacists have a low rate of being replaced by robots. In 50 years, it will be a different question because technology will have slightly improved. Therefore, it is certainly something that can happen in the future.
A pharmacist tends to retire more early than other people. Most employees tend to retire at 62 years old.
Right now, I am graduating in Social Science: Business Administration. I will be starting Health Science next semester. If everything goes as planned, in 6-7 years, I will have my doctorate in Pharmacy. Until then, I have to perform well in my sciences and maths classes.
