It's not the same for all entrepreneurs, but they usually get up very early. They take time to do some sports in the morning and spend time with their families. Then, they go to work which includes meetings, interviews and lots of hard work to move their businesses forward. An entrepreneur makes the 24 hours of a day very productive.


Where do entrepreneurs work?

Usually in an office, either at their company or at home.


How can I become an entrepreneur?

Being an entrepreneur is not just a job, but a way of thinking. You don't have to go to CEGEP, but that is an option because there is the Commerce Management program. In addition, several schools of marketing and entrepreneurship exist in Quebec. Reading books on the subject and watching videos that will create a way of thinking that will solve all the problems is essential.


How much money do entrepreneurs make?

The average salary of an entrepreneur in Canada is $70,000 per year. On the other hand, they can do a lot more if the money is invested and their companies are bigger.

Knowing how to create a network of contacts, meeting people who will offer you opportunities is essential. Also, understanding debts, taxes, and how money goes up and down are assets.


What are the dangers of being an entrepreneur?

Since an entrepreneur works for himself he can fail. Bankruptcy, losing a lot of money are business risks. In addition, an entrepreneur must be able to know how to manage his stress and his business, but not just a few facets, but everything. It's a very demanding world of life, but the risks of the job can make a lot of money.
