But at the end of the day, you feel satisfied with your hard work.

Teachers are usually teaching the basic competences to their students. Those basics are physical education, science, English, French, history and plastic arts. Their goal is also to educate children and be sure the class environment is healthy.


What do teachers do on a typical day?

In a typical day, before arriving at school you will have to create a lesson plan. Then, the class usually start at 8 a.m. In this class the teacher need to educate his students and keep them awake and attentive. When dinner times comes, the teacher is going at the cafeteria to eat his dinner, and interact with the students, then the next classes will take place until the end of the working day. Out of the school, the teacher is still working, he is answering to questions of the parents or the students, and he works on the creation of his next lessons.

Teachers usually work in primary or secondary schools. The advantage is that you need less studying to teach in these, but the disadvantage is the lack of maturity of the children, which can be annoying.

To become a teacher you need to complete high school and cegep. Then, you have to go to the university for four years and get a baccalaureate diploma. After a short times of practical training as a teacher, you will officially be a teacher.
