In addition, it can also be to attract some students because this program is not well know so this is a good idea. Be careful, it may be interesting.

What is it like to be plastic engineer?

It is fun because there are a lot of diversify work. We can do a lot of things. Everyone can find something for them. In production, you can work directly on machines to make products. In design, we can work on high-tech software to design any kind of product. In the laboratory, the product can be tested to be sure that it is suitable for its functionality and fixed problems.

What do plastics engineers do?

They can do manual work on machines in a shop, or they can also do plan on a computer in an office. Work in a laboratory is also a possibility.

What do plastics engineers do on a typical day?

There are a lot of possibilities. They can do the plans of plastic mold and plastics pieces with high-tech software. They can do experiments in a laboratory to test different types of product. They can also work on big machine to build the set-up and the piece.

Where do plastics engineers work?

What are the chances that plastics engineers will be replaced by robots soon?

There is no chance that the plastic engineer will be replaced by robots because we take care of the machines. If there is the purchase of robots, it is rather to accelerate the performance of operators. The plastics engineers adapt with technology, but they are not replaced.

What age do plastics engineers retire at?

They retire at the average age. It depends on companies and them. Furthermore, it depends on if they work in conception or production because the production employee will be more physically tired. It is specific to everyone.

Conclusion

Personally, I am in my second year in this program. For now, my goal is to try to work on the design this summer. I still have to find the best companies, but don't worry there are enough jobs available for every one.
