Small Business Owner

Introduction

If you have ever thought about being a small business owner, then this article is for you. I have been a business management student at Ahuntsic College for two years now and I really want to help you start a company.

What is it like to be small business owner?

It is not easy. It's a lot of stress to pay your dues because a small business usually doesn't see a significant profit for two years after its creation. Furthermore, it requires a lot of work to keep with a lot of continuous tight deadlines.

What do small business owners do?

A small business owner creates, organizes, and manages an enterprise. His role is to be the heart of the strategies as the establishment of the business plan which establishes the description of the product or service, the way the business owner is going to finance the business, the important deadlines and the ultimate goals.

What do small business owners do on a typical day?

Owning a business is not a 9 to 5 job, it's long hours of work to keep up with tight deadlines. Some business owners need to work 80 to 120 hours a week to maintain their business. I can't really tell what a small business owner does on typical because it all depends on what business. However, this proves that small business owners have to adapt to take care of their customers' interests.

Where do small business owners work?

I would say that they can generally work either at their office or the place where the business is located or anywhere because they are self-employed.

How can I become small business owner?

I strongly recommend applying to Business management in school, but you can also start a company yourself.

How much money do small business owners make?

Business owners get to choose their own salary because it all depends on how much money the company is profiting. But, in the first 2 years, you're probably not going to be seeing any profit from the company.

What kinds of additional training do small business owners need?

It might be smart to do courses about the domain where you're business is operating. For example, if you're running a photography company, you should follow photography courses

What are the dangers of being small business owner?

It's the riskiest legal career you can choose because you might invest all you're money in a dream company without seeing any profit from it. Also, your business must always respect perfectly federal laws, state laws, city laws in order to avoid getting sued.

What are the chances that small business owners will be replaced by robots soon?

No, no, no, and no. It has been done and tried in the past. Robots would not interact and be keeping good relations with customers, clients and employees or making actual reasonable decisions when the rational ones are not the best ones. Also, I am kind of confused by this question because if a robot is a business owner wouldn't the guy who owns the robot be actually the owner?

What age do small business owners retire at?

There is no age limit you can keep being a small business owner as long as you want. Unless you die.

Conclusion

Personally, I would really want to start my own small business where I can, as an artist myself, interact and work with other artists. What about you?
