Being an attorney is working 9 a.m. To 5 p.m., after your shift you go to a 5 p.m. at 7 p.m. with your clients or with colleagues. But is not only that it would be to easy right? Most of your time consists of analysing during a lot of hours cases, and help people with their everyday law issues.

All attorneys journey is different because they don't have the same field. But in general, they take a new case when the other one is finished, analyse it, meet their clients in prison or in their office and goes to the court if is a need.
Lawyers work in law office.
First, pass an admission test to enter a law school and prepare yourself to writing and reading. If you don't like writing and reading I'm telling you now you should choose another field because is a need to read jurisprudences, doctrines and law articles to understand the law. Also, taking classes notes and highlighting in bright colors pages and pages of articles and law decision, if you don't or you can't do this you will be lost in a snap. Secondly, during the summer vacations, tried to work in a lawyer's office so you can already see what the work look like, if you like it and if when you finish your studies you will apply here. Finally, after 8 years of school you are going to pass the Bar exam, two days writing and an oral test. If you successfully pass all those test, you will be a lawyer in the specialization you will choose with your university degree accredited by the Canadian Bar, but we are in Quebec it will be the Bar of Quebec.
You start with a really small salary but adequate to live and with time an experience your salary will growth, if you want the exact number I don't have it because it depends on many factors like : you work in the public or private. But remember, one step at the time!
Self control, self-esteem, patience, not taking cases too personal and humanity.
Mental health problems like depression. Every day, you have to face very difficult and emotional subject of the dark side of the society for example, police brutality, racism/hate crimes, murder, child pedophile or rape. Of course, it depends on what specialization you are going to choose. On some other field you can have to deal with long hours shift. It can be really destructive if you want to have a family in the future can you imagine coming home every day when your children are sleeping and never eats with them or never spend qualities times with your wife or husband.
Probably 50% because robots are already present in law firms, but they are used for data bases, nowadays. I do not think they will replace lawyers because they will never be good at transmit human connections and empathy. For example, the pleading, robots are going to too scripted, and we are going to lose the "theater" effect of it. Even went talking with a customer will feel like answering a survey, but maybe I'm wrong. Note that we are talking about Artificial Intelligence aka AI not Hollywood robots.
