Being a radiation therapist is healing people from cancer with always having a smile on. His job is to put a smile on his patients' faces because what they are going through is really hard mentally and physically.
A radiation therapist collects information for the patient treatment for him to get the better treatment and be healed faster as possible. His job is to take the cancer away with X-ray (that is the treatment).
They see three to four patients on a regular basis. It for sure depends on the day and how long the patient has to be treated, but in general they don't see that much people. They make sure that everything is working well, and then they apply the treatment. Sometimes they even have to talk on the phone, so they have multiple tasks to do.
They work in a hospital (in Quebec).
You just have to go to cegep. It is a three-year program with nine classes each semester.
With 10 year experiences, they make about $60 200 each year.
They need a trainee ship in a hospital after 2 years of study, and after they can go to work as a radiation therapist.
The only danger is that of course you are working with X-ray so it may be dangerous for you nut you are highly equipped for that so you won't be in danger.
Very low, for my opinion, this job necessity humans. Robot can not be as familiar with their patient as human can.
They work for the government so between 60 and 65 years old.
To conclude, I still have 3 more years to do in this program. I have never been so exited to do something in my life. I feel that this job will be my forever job and I cannot wait to help people.
