Also, they communicate with suppliers, with unhappy customers. The list of what they do is very long but these are the main things they are in charge of.
A typical day as a human resources manger depends on how big the company is. This means the bigger the company is, the less work you will have to do. You will be specialized in doing something particular in the company. For example, you will take charge of only interviewing prospective employees. But, if the company is small, you will have a lot of things to do since there isn't enough employees in the company. In general, a human resources manager will elaborate plans, organise the schedules, answer questions, communicate with suppliers and employees, they will do interviews to recruit new staff, they will make sure the company doesn't have any problem and isn't missing anything.
Usually, human resources managers work in an office in the department in the company. This is a huge advantage because if the company has any type of problems on the floor, for example, unhappy customers, employees who are not doing their work properly, etc. The human resources manager is already in the building which means that the problem can be solved right away.
You can become a human resources manager by graduating from high school. Then, you have to enter a technique at the college in business management. Once you graduate from college, you can already start working as a human resources manager of a company. But it is always better to go get a university degree because it will aloud you to work for bigger companies or specialize in a specific field in the human resources management.
The first year you make around 55 k per year. After 10 years of work as a human manager you should be earning around 75 k per year and finally, after 20 years working as a human resources manager you should be earning around 82 k per year.
Being able to work with different platforms such as Excel, Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, etc. Is always a plus and will clearly save you a lot of time.
The danger of being a human resources manager is that you have to be strong mentally and be able to deal with high pressure because you will constantly be working under pressure. So, if you can't handle that you might get depressed.
I don't think there is a chance that robots replace human resources manager because the robots can not handle all that stress. Also, I can't imagine robots doing interviews to real people to recruit them in the company. Added on that, robots must be programmed to work. But let's say you have a problem on the floor of the company, then the employees ask the robot what to do, but it doesn't know what to say your problem won't be solved. This is why I think that there is no chance that robots replace humans for that part of the company.

Right now, I am in my first year in the technique of Business Management. So, I still have 2 more years at the college and I will be done. My goal is to get a university degree and eventually work in a company related with soccer either managing a company who sells soccer stuff or even have my own company would be a very interesting project for the future.
