I make this article because becoming a musician these days is very difficult and challenging. You should have make a place in this vast world and you should know what you are talking about! But here some questions I can answer well, you don't have to be afraid anymore because you know where you are going!
When I'm working, I have to be organized : I have multiple projects at the same time! I also have many deadlines I must respect or the customers won't call you again, so you have to keep a good rigor of work. This was for when I'm working alone because when I work for a famous artist or for a festival I got in some bands, we are like a team playing together in front of a big crowd, when we finished our show we group and we chill...this is a great felling.
Musicians play songs alone or together (in a band or orchestra). They compose music for a specific person or a company. We generally entertain people with sound and instruments, but we also fill music where there is silence.
We compose music to people if needed, or we learn song with our instrument if we are in a band
At the house if you build your own studio. Musicians go to studio if they have to record something specific, but they can work on a stage too. Musicians can work everywhere!
First you have to master at least one instrument to be distinguished by others, but you can learn many instruments you want. You need a music teacher too, it helps to master your instrument by giving exercises.
Musicians who work more for fun gain less money than professionals. When you work as a pro, it will depend on what kind of project you will do, some projects are more expensive than others, but a pro musician always has a good salary and can live peacefully.
Some people go in what they call "mastery class", it is like a course with a teacher except the teacher is a big name in the musical industry. You also have the NAMN show, a place where you will find the best new products for musicians like brand-new guitars or new products for drummers, etc.
You carry heavy stuffs usually so take care of your back!
In theory you can, but I don't think people will use robots instead of real humans because human has at least feeling.
When you are just tired.
