A tattoo artist has to make appointments with their clients, draw a lot, preparing a cleaning the table, and obviously, a tattoo artist will have to tattoo their clients
They tattoo people but not only this, they have to consistently draw and get better at their craft, they have to make sure everything is sanitary
They would start their day off with drawing a little bit and maybe answering some emails/texts. Depending on if they have appointments that day they would prepare the stencils before the clients comes to make sure to keep the time short. then obviously they tattoo people
At a tattoo shop or at their home
You can either bring a portfolio of your art into tattoo shops and they can take you as an apprentice and teach you how to tattoo. Or you can try being self taught and start off at your home. You can always go to a tattooing school
It really depends on how popular you are and the level of work you need to put in each tattoo, a starting artist will not charge a lot and as he gains popularity he can start charging more
He needs to be able to either use a tattoo machine or be able to stick and poke. obviously you need to know how to draw. you also need to be good with people since you are dealing with people every and marking them for life.
You can make a mistake on someone there’s nothing you can do about it, you could also not have any clients and clients are your only revenue
None since you need to be an artist
You can tattoo till the day you die, at some point you might have back problems due to being bent over all the time but as long as you stretch and take care of yourself there isn’t really an age. If you lose your touch as an artist would be the only way i could see it happening
Being a tattoo artist is a demanding job but at the same time the work environment is normally very cool and relaxed, since you don’t always have customers you can talk with your coworkers, read, draw or whatever you want to do
