Being a nurse means taking care of a lot of people you don't know. It means handling a lot of situations at the same time and dealing with unexpected events. But it also means to make many discoveries, learning new techniques, and hearing many life stories. A nurse is a person who is sensitive, persistent and communicates well.
Nurses have 17 reserved activities. For example, they can evaluate a person's physical and mental condition when they have symptoms. They can also provide care and perform interventions, give vaccines, do certain medical procedures, and decide on a treatment plan for a patient.
At the beginning of their shift, nurses receive a report from the nurses before them. Then, they go see each patient to do the initial evaluation, they give medications, and they perform procedures if needed. After, they monitor the patients'condition throughout the day. They also have to handle unexpected situations which often happen at the worst times. At the end, they give a report to the next nurses.
Nurses can work in hospitals, in community services, on the streets, in schools, on military bases. They can also work in patients' homes, in private clinics, and many other places.
You need to graduate high school before anything else. You need to have passed chemistry. Then, you can do a 3-year minimum program at a college of your choice in nursing, or you can do your Bachelor of Science in Nursing. If you graduate, you need to take the big exam. In Quebec, it is the OIIQ test. Outside of Quebec, it is the NCLEX test. If you pass, lucky you! If you fail, you can try again, but after 3 failed tests, you can't be a nurse.

One of the dangers of being a nurse is the risk of needle injuries of cuts from sharp objects. A nurse can injure her back from lifting or moving patients. A nurse can develop mental health issues because the jab can be emotionally and mentally demanding, and the work pressure can be very heavy.
0% chance. Nurses have emotions and logical thinking. Robots are doing what they got told to do, they aren't capable of doing what nurses do, at least not to my knowledge. However, robots can help with technology, but not to the point of replacing nurses.
The golden age for retirement is usually 65 years old. Nurses can retire before or after, it always depends. At their retirement, they will have gained a lot of social experience, and they will have left a big impact on the society.
I am in my second year of college, there is still a year left. After, I would love to go to a university to do my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Then, I would also love to do my Master of Science in Nursing.
