A cultural anthropologist is mostly focused on the behaviors and traditions of different cultures across time, this can involve living in a particular community for months, maybe years.
In field work, anthropologists might be somewhere around the world they want or need to gather information on. They can spend entire days building thrust with people they want to interview, so that they can gather accurate reliable information. They spend a lot of time learning, observing taking photos of the daily habits of their subject and pass a lot of interviews. Then, they gather all that information, they write it down and do research on what they have.
