To become a lawyer in Quebec, you first need to complete CEGEP with a good Cote R. Getting a good Cote R is really important, or it is practically impossible to get to university. After, getting to University, you need to obtain a law degree with usually take around 3 years. After completing the law degree you need to pass the Quebec Bar exam. Once the exam passed, you need a professional internship with is a stage to officially become a lawyer and practice law in Quebec.

The lawyers usually earns between $60 000 to more than $150 000. Their salary depends on their experience and their specialization field.

The lawyers need to do continuous training all the time to stay updated about all the law
