Elementary school teachers work with young students, usually from kindergarten to around grade 6. Their job is to teach the lessons and the subject. This is the base to be a teacher. But, being a teacher is also a way to help the students to develop skills. You also have to plan lessons and activities, communicate with parents, manage the classroom and support the student emotionally.
