The job of a psychologist is to analyse all the part of the brain, by seeing patient and examine them. Once they know more about the patient, psychologists are able to find solution to help the person who has difficulties, so they can live their life healthy.

On a typical day, psychologists see patients, when they leave, they do research and examine them. After, they receive another patient and that'S how it goes all day.


Where do psychologists work?

Psychologists have to choice of where they want to work. They can choose to work by their own, which mean they work at their house and receive their patients in their home. They can either decide to be a corporate psychologist, which mean they work in an office of the company. The advantage of working by your own is that you decide your schedule and the advantage of being a corporate psychologist is that your work in a structure environment.


How can I become psychologist?

The degree you need depends on what type of psychology work you want to do. If you only finish a bachelor's degree, you can be an assistant to a psychologist. If you decide to obtain a Masters' degree in psychology, you can work as an assistant but also help in conducting research or administer tests. If you wish to see patients and really work in a clinic as a psychologist, then you need to go all the way to the PH D or the new one, PSY D.

The salary of a psychologist varies depending on if the psychologist's work on is own or if he works for a clinic. The average salary of a psychologist is $41 per hour witch mean $85340 per years.

In order to have the most updated techniques, Psychologists need to complete a defined amount of hours annually of training.


What are the dangers of being psychologist?

To be psychologist's means to work with a lot of people with mental problems. That means that you never know how your patient will react when you talk to him about is problem's. Therefore, there are risk that psychologist get threatened by patient.


What are the chances that psychologists will be replaced by robots soon?

There is no chance that one day robots will be replacing psychologists because humans are complex, and emotional distress can not be helped mechanically. Each situation needs a different approach and robots can not adapt.


What age do psychologists retire at?

Psychologists retire generally at the age of 60 years old, but it depends on everyone.
