A respiratory therapist is a healthcare professional who helps people breathe. They treat and monitor patients with a lung and heart-related problems like asthma or trauma.They work with doctors, nurses, and other specialists.
The Respiratory and Anesthesia Technology works with patents who have breathing problems. He gives oxygen to patients and medications. He can use devices, and administers oxygen treatment. He monitors respiratory distress.He also teaches patient how to tack their medication at home.
At the beginning, these are the main things. In the morning, first, we receive the patient, and we check what is going on with them, we check their files and their medical document. Also, we check if there is a prescription or not, if there is a treatment to administer, we administer it, and we do an evaluation before we go. Sometimes, we give oxygen, sometimes we administer medication or teach patient how to use it. Other tasks include working with doctors, explaining results over our examination and at the end of the day we need to make sure that we wrote notes in every file after each patient we meet. He also moves around the hospital, between different units such as the emergency department and other areas.

Honestly, the chances that our job will be replaced by robots, I don't really think it will happen. If we think about it, we are not even able to replace doctors yet. A Respiratory and Anesthesia her like doctor. They are people who follow patients it is more than a robot because it needs some feeling or good judgment. So, we can have robots, but we cannot have a robot that can understand a patient the can follow a patient and that can create a certain connection with the patient. So, the chances that we will be replaced by robots. I would say no today and not in 20 years because I think there is a human feeling that a robot does not have. A patient needs to feel understood. We can see that especially with children. I would say that we are not at point yet. Some machines can evolve a list that is complicated to use. But there is no chance that Respiratory and Anesthesia Technology will be replaced by robots soon.

My goal is ton become a respiratory therapist and work in hospitals. Later, I would decide which sector I want to work in. Before, I saw myself in active sectors, but now I see myself more in calmer ones. Another goal I have put for 2026 is to successfully complete all of my courses. I would like to finish the program in two years. After graduation, I will work for a year in a hospital. Then, I will also like to go to the university if I still want to study it after two years. For now that where I see myself. I see myself going far, but I don't yet know which path I will take, how long it will take or even how many years.
