Like I said previously, ultrasound technologists can specialize to know more about a body part. Also, they can have many conferences between themselves and other ultrasound technologists all around the world to be updated on different tools or a different method that they can use to do their work.
What can be the most dangerous in this job is the disrespect of the work ethic. In ultrasound, you do not have the right to tell the patient the pathology he has if you do it, you can face serious complications and you can even go to jail for that. Also, you can develop several bones and muscle problems due to repeated movements.
The chances are pretty low because the job is ranked high and that means that is less likely to be replaced.
You can retire from 60 years old like most jobs, at 60 you will have gained a lot of experience.
