They can have an occupational health and safety training. It can be benefited to the team to have this training.
You will need to do the dirty work. As such an employee that you terminated can be mad at you and may result in the harm of your teammate or even yourself.
In my opinion, a human resource manager can't be replaced by robots. This work needs human connection but, if the employee are replaced by a robot a human need to be here to make sure they are working and to the job correctly. Also, with 8 billion people on this planet I think human connection is essential in our society, beside human resources can be useful because they assist other position and can evaluate the need of other department.
In Quebec, retire age is around 65 years old. All those years of work will teach you verbal skills, writing skills, information processing speed and much more.
In conclusion, being a resource human manager need to have great social skills because you will be working with other department and coworkers, hiring or firing people.
