This is an overall summary of what being a graphic designer is like and I’m motivated to write it because it could help people who don’t want to read a five thousand word text to know what a job is like.
Being a graphic designer can be hard because you have to work under limited time and budget limit to create quality content.
The graphic designer creates the visual presentation for many items like cans, video games and websites.
Graphic designer on a typical day works on ideas given and taking them into mind creating one final image of design to sell afterwards.
They usually work in an office at home or if you work for a big company like ubisoft you could work at the company building itself.
Most graphic designer have a four-year degree in art or product design.
In Canada an average graphic designer gets paid around $44 000 per year.
You have to be able to work multiple hours before getting the actual work done and having a great communication skill and being able to work in very constraint time limit.
Out of 25 000 people only 60 percent are staying in the job.
Robots can’t create or think out of the box as much as human, so I don’t think they will be replaced by robots anytime soon.
You can retire at anytime you want 60 years old is always the average age but it depends on the person.
Graphic designers is a good job if you like creating image and giving your point of view on ideas.
