Working for a company or the government can also be a great thing if you prefer to have a fix schedule and don’t mind working by yourself.
If you want to be a psychologist and have any position offered, you have to obtain a Ph.D or doctorate, which is a process that can take up to five to seven years. For example, if you want prefer to work in a counseling or clinical environment, before you graduate, you will begin to help people with the help of a supervisor. You will probably have to do another year under supervision after graduating. There are chances that you will be asked to be the subject of a psychoanalysis.

To be able to practice, the most important thing is to get your license and pass the exam of the area you live in. You also have to do at least one year of practice under supervision.
