A Journalist doesn't have a routine as everyday is a new story. A journalist usually under time pressure to report everything quickly, while staying objective.

Journalists interview sources, review records, and report information. They analyze events to explain their effects of the population. They could do an investigation recherche to find new information about a subject and report it, journalist have to focus on writing well and clearly.

A typical day for a journalist includes researching information about stories, interviewing people for sources, attending press conferences, and writing or editing articles. Working very quickly and on deadlines, and finding the best breaking news often changes their plans.

Journalists usually work for newspapers, magazines, television stations, radio and online media outlets and many more. A lot of journalists work full-time for big organizations, while some work as freelancers.

To be a journalist you need a bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or political science. A lot of journalists have begun their careers at the school newspaper or at a neighborhood magazine or newspaper.

Conclusion

I’m about to start my studies in communications journalism and expect to finish in 3 to 4 years with my diploma. During this time, I plan to gain experience through internships and university media projects. I’ll focus on social issues and politics, building a portfolio to showcase my skills. I want to work at a well-known broadcasting channel to write about important topics.
