An ultrasound technologist needs to interact with patients, sort out useful information that needs to be transmitted to the doctor, to take ultrasounds images of the patients in order to help the doctor's diagnostic.
We start our day by preparing our room, because in some workplace, we are staying in the same room for the whole day. After receiving the patient, we need to take some images by following our protocol and show to the doctor. They will take care of the diagnostic part with the patient. Between each patient, we disinfect the tools used and the bed.
In different departments of the hospital, such as the ultrasound imaging department, the intensive care or the emergency room.
Apply in the Medical Ultrasound Technology at Ahuntsic College with some prerequisite courses done. Such as the Mathematics and Sciences enrichment. We can work after three years of condensed study, or we can make it relaxer in four years.
