Introduction

Choosing a future career could be tough and finding information about a job to, that is why I wrote this article about the electrical engineering career because it is also my future career.


What is it like to be an?

Being an engineer is fun and hard at the same time. It is fun because you get to meet a lot of people every day, you learn a lot of things related to your field, and it pays very well from the beginning, but it is also hard because the job require a lot of effort, concentration and time requirement.


What do electrical engineers do?

Electrical engineers design, implement, maintain, and improve all the electronics everyone uses every day.


What do electrical engineers do on a typical day?

On a typical day, an electrical engineer sit behind a desk and work on a computer testing, coding and developing on various types of electrical equipment. They mostly work on motors and electrical system.


Where do electrical engineers work?

An electrical engineer can work from everywhere, most of the time they can be in an office, in a factory and even at home as long as they have a computer with WI-FI on it and all the system they need.


How can I become an?

To become an electrical engineering you first need a college diploma in electrical engineering then if you want to pursue your education you can go to universities to focus on a spécialisation. The next step would be to get an internship in electrical engineering as soon as you can get experience and then start the professional engineer licensing process following with the national professional practice exam (NPPE) and after some years of experience become licensed as a professional engineer (peng).


How much money do electrical engineers make?

What kinds of additional training do electrical engineers need?

During your career, technologies will evolve with time, and you will need to be able to keep your knowledge updated. That is almost all the additional training you would need.


What are the dangers of being an?

There is a lot of possible risk depending on where you work. You can get serious shock, burns and concussion, if you work in a factory, you can also lose a limb in a functioning machine and even die. Yes all these conditions could happen, but don't worry because our work space are very protected and are visited to reduce often risk, so yes it could happen but are not likely.


What are the chances that electrical engineers will be replaced by robots soon?

In the future, it is not very likely that our job be replaced by robots because we program and create these robots. In addition, all our electric works to is protected because a robot can't plug himself in.


What age do electrical engineers retire at?

There is not really an age to retire in electrical engineering but, most of the time people retires between 55-60 years old. You can retire later but people mostly retire when they get financial stability, if health can't follow or if, they can't keep up with the changes of technologies.

Electrical engineering is a very interesting job because it pays well, you meet people, you have a lot of opportunity to learn, it's stable for the future, low chance of danger, very good retirement plans and so much more so, if your interested I encourage you to search more about it.
