Police officers ensure the protection of the population and ensure the detection and prevention of crime. Their interventions aim to maintain law and order. The main tasks are; Patrolling in designated areas to maintain order and public safety. Enforcing laws and regulations. Questioning witnesses and arrest suspects of criminal offenses and accidents. Compile notes and reports. Testify in court. Rescuing victims of accidents, crimes and natural disasters. Participate in the development of crime prevention, public information and security programs. A police officer can do many things in a shift, but what they mostly do is a series of routines: patrols, investigations, and paperwork.
