Being a salesperson comes with a lot of ups and downs. For example, sometimes we can get rejected by potential clients maybe because we weren't convincing enough, and other times we can experience joy, successfulness and accomplishment when we reach our goals. It all depends on how you want to deal with rejection but the best way to deal with it, is by using it as future lesson to avoid making the same mistakes or using the same techniques.
A salesperson mostly makes cold calls. They go on sales meeting whether it is in their workplace or abroad, they gather information about new products that they want to their clients. And most importantly they negotiate.
On a typical day, they either make phone calls to clients or they answer clients or suppliers phone calls. They present new products or services to clients. They write or they send emails. They also plan and organize when to call a potential client to grow their client base.
They work in an office if they live around their workplace area which makes it easy for them to arrive at work. If they live far, they can work from home.
